2006 Grenache- CM Ranch- Carmel Valley- New Release
The first ever Grenache bottling from our estate vineyard is an intense wine demonstrating the power of this mountain vineyard. Aromas of dried cherries are followed by mocha and spice in the nose. The texture is full bodied with firm tannins but a lighter feel than our Syrah from the same vineyard. This is still a young wine that benefits from decanting as does our Syrah from Carmel Valley.

2006 Syrah - Cedar Lane - Arroyo Seco - New Release
This syrah from our vineyard in the Arroyo Seco AVA is always a very different creature than our Carmel Valley bottling. With a much longer growing season but more moderate temperatures this wine is ready to drink sooner. Aromas feature chocolate and coffee with the core of blueberry typical of this region. While well structured it has a round and full texture with softer tannins.
